Accessibility Statement

Accessibility of this website: the measures taken, known gaps and how to contact us.

vividscenix aims to make vividscenix.co.uk usable on any device, in any browser and with any assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, which shortcomings remain and how to report a problem.

Our commitment

We regard accessible pages as ordinary maintenance work at vividscenix rather than an additional feature. Every new page and every change to the design is checked to make sure the text remains readable, the navigation remains usable without a mouse and no information is carried by colour alone. The statement applies to vividscenix.co.uk only.

What we do

The website uses semantic HTML with a clear heading structure, one main heading per page and link texts that make sense on their own. Navigation and main content are marked as separate regions, each page states its language for screen readers, and images that carry information have text alternatives.

Body text, links and buttons reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1. Because sizes are relative, zooming in or increasing the font size in the browser does not break the layout, and every part of the site can be operated with a keyboard.

Other ways to reach us

If a page on vividscenix.co.uk does not work for you, the same information is available without the website. Reach us by telephone on 01786 450382, by email at [email protected] or by post at 14 Baker Street, Stirling FK8 1BJ, and on request we will send the content of a page in another form.

Conformance

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. At present this site is only partially conformant: most content satisfies the guidelines, while the points listed below do not. Where a requirement cannot be met immediately, we look for another way of supplying the information.

Feedback

Please report any accessibility problem by email to [email protected] or by telephone on 01786 450382. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.

Known limitations

Several illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject without describing it in detail.

Preparation of this statement

The present statement was prepared on 17 October 2026 on the basis of our own internal assessment. We inspected the principal page types with a keyboard, at an increased zoom setting and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any substantial change to the website.
